What Do You Get When You Combine High Speed Flash With a Macro Lens?
You get a glimpse of a world not visible to the naked eye. You get to explore all sorts of creative opportunities. Come and spend the evening participating in Jim Brady's presentation "Speedlights and Macro Lenses." There will be a short "How to" presentation, followed by some hands-on experience in capturing captivating images with speedlights and macro lenses. It would be a good idea to bring:
- Your camera (and maybe even your camera manual)
- Macro lens (although, you can also do this without macro lenses)
- A sturdy tripod (no question, you can do this without a tripod, but your success rate will be really low)
- A cable release
- Your speedlight
If there's one thing you can count on with a Jim Brady presentation, it's unusual images and humorous situations. You won't be disappointed. The images here are a small sample of the unusual stuff you will see during this presentation. Hope to see you there.
